When beginning a new membership with Colony West Swim Club, a one time initiation fee of $200 is required. This fee is the same for both family and individual memberships.
In order to join Colony West Swim Club, you must be a resident of Sangamon county in Illinois. We do not require prospective members to be sponsored or referred. You do not have to reside in the Colony West neighborhood.

A family membership shall entitle all permanent residents* of the same household to the use of all organization facilities.
An Individual membership shall entitle only the named individual to the use of all organization facilities.
*To verify residency for all adult children over age 22 and permanent residents other than immediate family, a valid state ID will be requested at the front window during the first visit of the season to verify address.
Caregiver & Child Provisions
Colony West Swim Club understands that sometimes members need assistance with childcare or have unique family arrangements. To accommodate this, we offer special provisions for the following:
- Caregivers: This includes individuals (such as nannies, babysitters, or grandparents) who accompany a member’s child(ren) to the pool when the primary member is not present.
- Minors in the Care of a Member: This applies to children who are minors and are regularly in the care of a CWSC member, but are not dependents residing in the member’s household (e.g., a foster child, a child whose custodial parent is not a member).
- Non-Custodial Parents: For a non-custodial parent of a member’s child(ren) who wishes to bring the child(ren) to the pool.
Pricing & Details:
- Caregivers & Non-Custodial Parents: A flat fee of $100 allows you to add any number of designated caregivers or non-custodial parents to your membership. We assume these individuals will attend the pool one at a time when accompanying your child(ren).
- Minors in the Care of a Member: The cost for adding minors (who are not your direct dependents residing in your household) to your membership is $100 per child.

*3% service fee applies. Login to your MemberSplash account at ColonyWest.membersplash.com and follow the steps to renew. If issues arise, please reach out to CWSC2725@gmail.com. If you will not be able to renew through MemberSplash by May 1st, please drop off or mail your renewal check to Colony West Swim Club.
Currently, new members cannot sign up through MemberSplash but can mail or drop off their applications at the Colony West Swim Club facility. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Late Fees
May 1st – Final day for renewing members to pay without incurring a late fee in addition to their dues. There is no deadline to renew after the late fee deadline. New members can join at anytime without incurring a late fee.
To avoid a $50 late fee, renewing members must pay their dues by May 1st. Dues can be paid in their MemberSplash account at ColonyWest.membersplash.com, mailed to CWSC, or dropped off at CWSC.
