Swim Lessons
Our Colony West staff provides private swim lessons for both members and non members. Our ultimate goal is to make sure your swimmer learns basic water skills and each lesson is tailored to their needs. All lessons will be 25 minute sessions. Monday through Thursday 8:00am – 10:30am. Friday will be used as a weather make-up days for that particular week only. If a second weather day falls within the same week, a safety lesson will be taught. – no other make-ups or refunds will be made. Lessons are held in most conditions, excluding thunder and lightening, Colony West will notify you if we have to cancel lessons. If you choose not to come, CW is not responsible to refund or make up lesson.
- Sign ups begin after Memorial Day weekend
- Payment must be received at the time of the sign-up, forms will not be accepted without full payment.
- Group lessons are no longer being offered.
- Weekly lessons for members are $50.00.
- Weekly lessons for non-members are $75.
- Students must be at least 3 years of age to sign up for swimming lessons.
- Instructors may speak with parents of 3-5 year olds is 25 minutes is too long, to have a 20 minute session.
- If student is unable to attend for the week they signed up, notification must be given by the Saturday before lessons start in order to be re scheduled or receive refund.
- If classes are full, priority is given to CWSC members.
- Unless asked by instructor, please stay in concessions area or behind the fence during the lesson.
- On the first day of class, meet your instructor at the guard stand.
- Specific times and instructors may be requested, however, neither is guaranteed.
- You will be notified the weekend before your lesson starts with all the necessary details. We will send this notification to the email address you provided at sign-up.
