Our swim lesson ages start at age 3! Our typical age range for lessons is 3-12, but we can accommodate all ages and ability. In order to be scheduled for the next week of lessons, your swimmers application must be returned to the front desk on Friday, at the latest.

We do not offer single or group lessons.
Schedule
Lessons begin the first week of June and run until the first or second week of August. Swim lessons are Monday through Thursday, with Friday being a weather make up day.

While we cannot guarantee a specific time for your swimmers lesson, you can note on the application if you need a specific time.
Details and Polices
- Applications are available after Memorial Day weekend.
- Students must be at least 3 years of age.
- Group lessons are not available.
Payment and Scheduling
- In the event of a waitlist for lessons, priority will be given to CWSC members.
- Full payment must be received with the application.
- Payment must be received in order for lessons to be scheduled.
- Specific times and instructors may be requested, but neither is guaranteed.
- Each lesson is 25-minutes long. Instructors may recommend 20-minute lessons for younger students.
- The weekend before your lesson starts, details about your lesson will be sent to email address on your application.
- If your student is unable to attend the week’s lessons, please notify the instructor by the Saturday before in order for alternate arrangements to be made
- On the first day of class, please meet your instructor at the guard stand.
- During your student’s lesson, please stay in concessions area or behind the fence unless otherwise requested.
Weather and Make Up Policy
- Lessons are conducted in most weather conditions, excluding thunder and lightning. You will be notified if lessons will be canceled due to weather.
- Friday is used as a weather make-up day for that particular week only.
- If a second weather day falls within the same week, a safety lesson will be taught.
- No other make-up sessions will be scheduled, and no refunds will be issued for weather cancelations.
- Colony West is not responsible make-up lessons or refunds for sessions missed by the student for any other reasons.
