At Colony West Swim Club, we currently do not have a waitlist to join our club.
Our residency requirements are simply that you must live in Sangamon county in Illinois. You do NOT have to live in the Colony West neighborhood.
We also do not require members to be sponsored or referred to join. In order to join, all you need to do is fill out the membership application and drop off your application with the appropriate dues at Colony West Swim Club.

About our Facility
Colony West Swim Club is a pool membership full of generational members, new members, and everything in between. From the members who love nothing more than simply sitting by the pool relaxing, to the members who’s families are involved in every activity, you can find your crowd here!
Colony West Swim Club features a 25 meter big pool with a diving board and slide, a medium pool with a slide, and shaded baby pool. These 3 options allow all members of your family to play and enjoy Colony West Swim Club, no matter their age.
Opening day for CWSC is the Saturday of Memorial day weekend and our season concludes on Labor day. Our open swim times start at 11 am each day and conclude at 8:45pm each day.
Adult Swim
For our adult members, we feature morning lap swim times and daily lap swim times to best accommodate members schedules. Regardless of if you prefer to swim before work, after work, or you don’t have to worry about work, we have designated swim times for just our adult members.
During our daily adult swim times, you do not have to lap swim to be in the water. Check out our Hours page for more specific times.
Children’s Activities
We know how important it is for your children to learn to swim, and in order to help support that we offer affordable swim lesson options for our members. For a week of lessons (4 lessons), it is just $50 here at Colony West Swim Club. Check out our lessons page for more detailed information.
Need a summer activity? Join our swim team, the CWSC Gators! The Gators practice every morning on weekdays from June to mid July. Meets are typically each Tuesday and Thursday. Being a part of the Gators is a great way for swimmers to make friends at the pool and create lifelong bonds that extend past the pool. For more information, check out our Swim Team page.
Party on!
For those lucky enough to have a summer birthday, celebrate with us! We offer free table rentals at our concession patio on any day of the week and anytime during out normal operating hours. All you pay is the guest fees!
Throughout the summer, we regularly throw themed Family Nights and Adult Nights which can be attended for a small additional fee. This additional fee includes a meal, beverages, and entertainment. Guests of members are always welcome, so bring a friend!
Not sure what to do during the day on the Fourth of July? We do! By joining us, your Fourth of July will be packed with fun and memories at our pool. We feature a traditional Fourth of July cookout, games all day, and fun for the whole family!
